Katie King English 101 Movie evaluation 2-07-11 Evaluation of relic Memento The movie Memento was about a small-arm named Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) who had short term memory board loss. Leonard upset his memory when trying to stop two intruders in his home. The intruders which whom violate and murdered his married wo hu opusity, well at least this is what he cogitates. Except during the attack he was struck in the wiz by the attacker. He shot and killed the other attacker the single who struck him in the head got away. Leonard spends all of his time throughout the movie trying to find the second attacker. Which he has an highly hard time doing because of his loss of memory. In order for him to mean anything he had to write it on paper, tattoo it on his body, or take polaroid pictures of it. Leonard Shelby is the main character in the movie Memento. throughout the movie he takes notes and pictures to recommend current events and people he also tattoos the most im portant things he discovers on his body. He only remembers things and people from before the cam stroke. Like whom he is and what happened to his married woman. In the movie he talks often of a man named Sammy Jankis a man he investigated before the stroke, which had the same misgiving he has.

Leonard spends all of his time through the movie harden for the second attacker of his wife. Is Leonard remembering all of what really happened aright? Because later in the movie a man named aerate said Sammy was just a fraud and he didnt even have a wife, and that Leonards wife was the diabetic. He says that Leonard is to blame for his wifes death, that she su! rvived the accident and that his wife repeatedly asked him to give her, her insulin shots because she unavoidablenessed to believe that he would remember giving her the shot already. But he keep to give her the shots and she went into a coma and died.
